Yes, i've just tested now with a bunch of 10 CD and always musicbrainz is greyed.
i looked up on my ripped CDtheque and nowhere musicbrainz is used.Comment

If you have security software, try to disable as a test, it might be blocking MusicBrainz.Comment

i'm not sure what you mean about security software.
The stuff like: Windows firewall, zone alarm ?
Normally i just have antivir as an antivirus.

Musicbrainz is working now.
I've tryed with a new known CD --> ok
I've made again the test with Louis Armstrong CD and the Musicbrainz is always greyed.
I tryed to force DBpoweramp to retrieve from musicbrainz and it does nothing, no meta data retrieved
I've ripped it anyway and used another software named Jaikoz and this one can find informations and the illustration for that CD.
Why dbpoweramp can't do the same ?
With regard to classical music, the informations are often unfortunately extremely wrong
