The CD Ripper compressing album art, even though its smaller then the set limit. Is there a reason for this? Is there a way to stop this?

Re: CD Ripper compressing album art, even though its smaller then limit
But dBpoweramp is compressing images that are significantly smaller then my set limits. In fact it compresses nearly every picture I drop in. This shouldn't happen if the image is smaller then the limits the user sets.Comment

Tracking this issue, I am not sure how you drag and drop the art, tried in IE 11 and Chrome and it is not possible to drag an art image into CD Ripper. If you copy and paste (with right click) then the copy action makes a BITMAP internally which has to be recompressed to jpg.Comment
