PerfectMeta No AMG

New user – R14.3. GD3,MusicBrainz, & freedb come in fine, AMG does not. Looks like all the right check boxes are checked. Tried turning off the firewall & MS Security Essentials. Any other thoughts?

If you select meta >> retrieve from >> AMG

Tried that too, but end up with the error popup after then clicking review meta. .... probably due to HDD cache.

PerfectMeta would not show, try this, put a popular disc in, change the album name to test and

meta >> retrieve from >> AMG

if it works the album name will change...

Chunked in Brubeck's Time out.
Hit Review Meta - the other showed up not AMG.
Changed Album to test
Hit retrieve from AMG - no change
Hit retrieve from GD3 - it did change back to Time Out

Hit submit changes to AMG - said check internet connection (which is working)
Allow AMG internet is checked (the proxy box is not) same as Free DB

Is this an addtional fee service or something I need to set up? In the AMG internet window says's "Access enabled thru Dbpoweramp reference".

Check in dBpoweramp Configuration, it should say:

Registered: Reference

AMG rely on the datastream being untouched between AMG and their decoder which runs on your computer, if you have software (or a router) which changes the stream (adding an extra header, or a null on the end) then AMG will not work.

Below is the copy to clipboard output. If the decoder is a seperate running process, I don't see it in Task Manager. I'm on satellite internet which can do some funky things, but have not had handshake problems before.

It will likely be the satellite Internet which is stopping it function.

Between the three that do work, ID's are still pretty good. Thanks for checking into it.
