Accuraterip error message

Have tried many times to submit my results to accuraterip.

After a couple of minutes, I always get the error message:

"Error connecting to accuraterip, please check your settings"

I am perpetually connected to the internet and have no other connection problems.

Any ideas?

You are running on Windows 7? and your security software is not blocking the submission?

I am running Windows 7 and AVG Internet Security.

How would I tell if the submission is being blocked?

You would disable the security software and try to submit.

Yes, been using it very heavily for some months, but have never managed to submit my results

One other thought - is there a maximum number of items you can submit at any one time?

The dialog box says there are over 14,000 tracks

So, is there a way of restricting the number of entries submitted so that we can test this hypothesis?

Clear the submission (rip another disc) then try to submit.

Submissions are in %appdata%\AccurateRip

Lovely. Worked a treat. Would still be fascinating to know what the maximum number of submission items is.

What size file was it?

Assuming that it's the AccurateRipCache file, it was 855k, which doesn't seem very big to me
