This has been a problem for a while. I now have the most current version of Music converter, DSP effects, Asset UPNp as well as CD writer. I had few problems with ripping until a couple of months ago. Then the ripping program began to crash consistently. It worked fine when I was connected to a DSL line but with my Hughes net connection it would crash. I upgraded a few months ago and still had the same problems. Recently it began to again work at home with my Hughes connection, in fact I have ripped over 50 CD's from home. Again I upgraded to all the current versions and it worked fine for several CD's and now again it is crashing.
I have disabled the Firewall to no avail. Added all of the dbPower programs for the Firewall pass them through. I disabled the virus program, still nothing. I am now just completely frustrated.
Where do I go next?
