I had a result on one of my discs that I have yet to have.
Normally (with my settings), dBp takes one pass and then encodes. My CDs are in great shape so believe it or not, I have yet to have one bad rip.
This time, I was ripping one of my Mark Knoppfler CDs and it did 2 passes, the second being "Ultra Secure" and instead of the AccurateRip logo, I got an XAR and a Check Mark with "Secure" next to it. I pasted in the first song from the Log. The Log looks different as normally, it lists the different CRC numbers with the different AR confidences.
Track 1: Ripped LBA 32 to 22357 (4:57) in 0:48. Filename: C:\Users\Peter\Music\Mark Knopfler\Sailing to Philadelphia\01 Mark Knopfler - What It Is.flac
Secure [Pass 1, Ultra 1 to 1]
CRC32: 463BA718 AccurateRip CRC: 736CBE80 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 013-001cc633-01201bd4-ae0e300d-1]
I thought perhaps it meant that the disc wasn't in the AR database but then the log says AccurateRip above so I wasn't sure. I know it isn't the most popular CD but I have more obscure stuff than this and they have all been found.
Thanks.
