    Core converter error message

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but have been using db poweramp for a long time now. I've come up against an error I cannot fix so I thought I would ask your advice. While I was trying to rip a cd I get the following error, A core converter dialog box appears with the following message "error reading db command file". A lot of these boxes appear as the program tries to rip the tracks, and then ejects the disc. I have been using db poweramp for about 2 years and have never seen this. I did a search on the web for the error message and read the solutions but none works e.g. clear the temp folder, create a rule on the antivirus software to allow db etc. but these solutions don't work. Any ideas? any help would be really appreciated.

It is likely your security software is blocking dbpoweramp (cd ripper communicating with the converter component).

Try disabling the security software, then rerip.

      Hi Spoon,

It wasn't the antivirus/security software, db is allowed through the firewall and I hadn't changed any firewall or antivirus settings on the pc. I had a look at the destination folder I had chosen and for some reason it was set to dynamic rather than the folder I specified for the other rips. As soon as I deleted the problematic folders and created a new folder, db ripped the tracks for me to the correct destination. Problem solved, but thanks for your suggestion.
