Can anyone confirm if Accuraterip has verified and recognized a particular CD? I don't have the CD but wish I did. Perhaps verifying it could me determine if the recording does exist ini CD format.

why not post the name of the CD and people that have it or know of its existence can respond? p.s. there are thousands (nay, 100s of thousands) of CDs that exist that one can buy today that are not in the Accurate Rip database. -

I thought I had posted the name of the CD. It's Joe English-Press On. I am not sure if it has ever been issued on CD. Thats what I'd like to know. Trust me it's a rare on if it exists on CD.Comment

I assume this is it. One can download it from here, but this might be a rip from vinyl. I find no evidence of a CD release.

Re: Can Anyone Confirm A CD Verified By Accuraterip?
You are looking at the wrong tool. AccurateRip does not identify a CD from the music, but from the track lengths in seconds and fractions of seconds. Even if there is a CD version, you cannot precisely pin down the track lengths from a vinyl rip in any case.
And even if you were magically able to do so, then AccurateRip could never tell you whether that CD was an official release, or just some bootleg mastered from an LP.
So, what is the 'right' tool? Google, I guess. You can use databases like Discogs, but the fact that you don't find it there, does not prove it doesn't exist.Comment
