    meaning of Text file

    Hi All

    This is probably a common question but cant find the answer. Can someone explain what the Text document is that is created when you rip a CD. Its the five "AccurateRip Verified Confidence" parts that im confused about. :confused:

    Different CD pressings, it is the same cd as you have except they were created with an inbuilt offset.

          Offset: entire bitstream shifted a certain number of samples to the left or to the right.

          Different CD players do that, and different CD writers do that, and therefore, two pressings of the same audio might have non-aligned bitstreams. dBpoweramp checks whether it matches the AccurateRip record of a different pressing too.
