I have installed dppoweramp CD ripper for the first time in the Virtual XP environment of Windows 7. How do I get Accuraterip working in Virtual XP?Accuraterip fails to configure on every CD I have. The drive is identified as a TEAC in Windows 7, but in the Virtual XP system it just Shows as MS CD/DVD-ROM Drive.

You would have to keep feeding key discs until it configures for accuraterip. -

To configure where the drive is not in the database (virtual drives are not in the database) you need 3 matching key discs, where the disc does not have another pressing in the database (so use newly released discs).Comment

Re: Accuraterip with Windows 7 Virtual XP DVD Drive
I'm confused. Do I need to buy 3 copies of the same CD or put the same CD in 3 times in a row? Is there a setting somewhere I need to configure so it knows to wait for 3 CDs to be fed? The offset for my drive is listed online. Is there a way to just manually enter it?Comment

Re: Accuraterip with Windows 7 Virtual XP DVD Drive
There are some discs that are stubborn. Some discs can't be used to configure AccurateRip. I forget the exact wording of the error message. Just keep feeding it a bunch of different discs. Eventually, you'll get the drive configured.Comment
