Accuraterip with Windows 7 Virtual XP DVD Drive

I have installed dppoweramp CD ripper for the first time in the Virtual XP environment of Windows 7. How do I get Accuraterip working in Virtual XP?Accuraterip fails to configure on every CD I have. The drive is identified as a TEAC in Windows 7, but in the Virtual XP system it just Shows as MS CD/DVD-ROM Drive.

You would have to keep feeding key discs until it configures for accuraterip.

I'm still stuck. I've fed it over 10 discs and most if not all are in accuraterip database. Is the problem that it just looks like a generic drive in Virtual XP rather than showing the manufacturer?

To configure where the drive is not in the database (virtual drives are not in the database) you need 3 matching key discs, where the disc does not have another pressing in the database (so use newly released discs).

I'm confused. Do I need to buy 3 copies of the same CD or put the same CD in 3 times in a row? Is there a setting somewhere I need to configure so it knows to wait for 3 CDs to be fed? The offset for my drive is listed online. Is there a way to just manually enter it?

There are some discs that are stubborn. Some discs can't be used to configure AccurateRip. I forget the exact wording of the error message. Just keep feeding it a bunch of different discs. Eventually, you'll get the drive configured.
