AccurateRip no / Secure Yes

Hi,

Just ripping some CD's that were released this week. I get AccurateRip with a X but a tick with Secure. Is this ok and means that the CD is not in the database yet ?

So there as perfect as there going to be ?
Is it because they are not in the Database ?

yes, when a CD is NOT in the database, the best you can get for confirmation is "secure". And it is not uncommon for new releases to not be in the database yet.

p.s. Not sure how to do it in dbpa, but in foobar2000 there is a component which will allow you to select all the tracks from an album, right click, and then "compare" to accuraterip info and tell you whether you get a match. So you might want to do that later on if you're worried. Then again, there is nothing to worry about. I assuming you're using dbpa ultra secure ripping and it told you the rip was secure, so you're good to go....
