Rip of first song always in error ???

My rips always end up with the first song in error (Rip status = inaccurate), however re-ripping the song goes OK. What is going on and what can I do to prevent it? I'm using a HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM DH10N. Thanks, Rene.

Use the Drive Spin Up option in CD Ripper >> Options

Hi Spoon, thanks for the quick response. I have tried various settings of the DSU up to 1/2 second, but no sigar. Further reduced the maximum speed to x32, but still no succes. I just fitted this drive (somehow the Sony I had before bricked) and note that where the previous drive seemed to continue on this one seems to stop after every song. This however doesn't affect the scanning of the No 2 song and higher, only the first.
