Laurie Anderson "Big Science" remaster (2007) - cutting tracks

I have tried a lot of different rip setups, but this disc (playing perfectly on my CD player), does not rip properly to FLAC. It brutally cuts the end of "Let X be X". Seems this is in Accurip database, but I guess it is the old CD (which is defective in the mastering, one track is too short; only one howl from the wolf, a known fact).

I know for shure the track lenghts on this CD is different from the original. This CD was ment to fix a few too short tracks actually.

Any remedy, how can I rip this CD properly? I usually play from my NAS, and hate to re-rig my CD player for just this CD...

If it is mastered wrong there is perhaps little you can do, if the track is the last track.

It is the next last track. It is not the master's fault. I have discovered all my new remasters from 2002 and up (Laurie, Simple Minds, Joy Division) fail in dBpoweramp, cutting off a track here and there, while saying "Accurate" at the same time. I have tried with two different CD players. dBpoweramp says something about offsets after each rip of these remasters. Before this, I have ripped till now 500 CD's with success...

All the remasters plays perfectly on my hifi CD player.

If AccurateRip verify then the disc was ripped like that by others...it suggests the TOC is wrong.

On this CD, it looks like producing is the problem (have always been with artists like Laurie and Pink Floyd and their crossovers from one track to another). It was hard to rip the original LP to cassette I remember, because I had to record the next last and the last in "one go". This is also what I have to do now. The next last is broken too early, and the last has the rest of the next last. You don't hear that on LP or CD (when not skipping that is). So I have to rip both traks as wawe, and merge them into one track. Fortunately I own Acoustica, and will use it to fix this. I think I should tell this to Nonesuch Records...

There is still the problem with my other remasters from Simple Minds and Joy Division. I'll rip a few anew and see what happens.
