Win7 64 bit - Blue screen of death

    Hi

I have purchased a new laptop and have downloaded latest webesite DBPA version from this website, however, my new laptop runs Win7 Pro 64 Bit. As soon a I open any of the applications ie CD Ripper or Converter I get a blue screen. I can run everything perfectly on my old laptop Win7 Pro 32 Bit. I think this maybe assocaited with a windows update, unfortunately being a newly installed laptop the trial and error, to identify one particular update and de-install, would be immense sinse the first few hours are spent updating by MS!

I have uninstalled DBPA, reinstalled, tried compatibilty mode etc to no avail.

Anyone experienced similar behaviour and found a solution?

I look forward to hearing from you

We have never heard of Converter giving a blue screen of death on startup before, I would update the drivers on your video card, as the program does not actually do much on startup (CD Ripper does, but converter no).

All drivers are updated and this makes no difference.

I have installed DBPAin virtual machine (XP Pro) and it works fine, so I have a solution but I'd rather resolve the problem.

For clarity - as CD Ripper opens and seems to settle, it blue screens - everytime.
