When I rip HDCDs with the HDCD DSP effect on, the last few seconds of each track is cut off. On playback, the track just stops and following track starts up right away, no gaps. I'm ripping using multi encoder, one FLAC and one WAV, and it's the same for each codec. Anyone know what's going on here?

Try simplifying, rip to wave without multi encoder and only have the HDCD dsp, there should be not truncation. -
Re: HDCD rips truncated--please advise!
Did what you said, Spoon, and it worked ripping to a single encoder: FLAC. Wish I could get it to work with multi encoder, though. I'm ripping my library to a working copy and a backup--2 separate hard drives. What I've done is set up a profile called HDCD which goes to a single hard drive. When I have an HDCD to rip, I switch to that profile, rip the CD, then copy the file from one hard drive to the other. Just an extra step. I have about 30 HDCDs in my 2000 CD library, so I guess I'll just cope. Anyway, thanks for your help.Comment

Make sure there are no other DSP effects being used, such as Trim, etc.Comment
