DSP EQ question

Searched the forum, do not find much DSP info.
I have a few discs that I would love to alter slightly in the bass region. Does the EQ settings under DSP encode into the rip?

Yes, I would advise against doing this, as the bass change is something for a player to do, not a ripper.

Good advice spoon. Normally I would never do this. But my J. Geils discs are simply unplayable in my big system. No EQ. No Tone controls. So in this case, I was gonna have a little fun!
