Rip Status will get stuck at 99% then at 100% for a long time!!

    Hi guys,

Having some trouble with dbpoweramp cd ripper, i am ripping my cds to 7.1 wav 24bit 192khz, on version 14.2. Now the problem is that on some tracks or usually half way through the album the rip status will freeze at 100% for a good 3-5 minutes before proceeding to the next track. I have tried to uninstall to see if made a difference, heck i even changed the sata port my drive was plugged in too to see if it makes a difference but none of it did, also when the album is finally finihsed ripping usually after 40 minutes, (when it was working properly i would rip a cd in 5-10 minutes), the tracks would have rip errors in them and stutter at the points where they havent been ripped correctly.

I have no idea whats going on, so some help on the matter would be appreciated

    Cheers

    Aaron

p.s. if you need system specs i can post, just leave a reply.

Try ripping to 16 bit 44.1KHz 2 channel, same as the cd.

      Hi Aaron,

hope you don't mind that I enter your therad without having any hints for you, but I have a comparless problem. Have payed and registered one week ago for the full version of dBpoveramp. Now with every CD I tryed to ripp (16 bit 44.1Khz 2 channel), I have success but not with the last track. The last track ist allways rippped to 99% and then I get the programm chrashed!
So currently I need to use Exact Audio Copy to ripp the last track of each CD... This is not what I have expected after buying this programmm :-(

      Any ideas?
Do you need more information from my side?
Win XP with latest version of dBpoweramp and following drive: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10N from LG

You need to go back on some options you might have enabled, such as overreading or c2 pointers, if either of these are enabled uncheck them.
