changing the track order of a cd before ripping

I recently bought a cd to replace a badly scratched one, the only thing is the new one has the same songs, but in a different order.

I want to have the songs in the numerical order as the old one i replaced.

can I change the numbers of the track listing before I rip?

& will the ripped tracks play one after another or normally on my mp3 player?

No, you have to do it manually after ripping, select a track, right click >> Edit ID Tags and change track number.

Also rename the file to the correct track number in the filename.
