    Problems ripping one CD

    Hi,

Having problems ripping my copy of Sound by Dreadzone. I insert it into my regular drive for which accurate rip is enabled and nothing happens - disc spins but DBP doesnt seem to recognise a CD. I tried using the drive in the laptop (better than nothing), this time DBP ses the disc and finds meta data etc but rips at x0.2 speed then after 10 minutes (for a 6mins and a bit track) dispplays 'ERROR'. The log points out the max rip time is set to 10 mins.

Should I just change this and leave it (I estimate 6 hours to rip an hour long CD) or is there something else wrong/going on ?

It is a proper audio CD (with CD trademarky thing on it) and plays fine on normal CD player.

    Any suggestions please ?

It is a hardware issue, where your CD drives are not able to read the properly.
