    Rip Status

Why does the "Rip Status" for this CD look different? Usually there is a green number where the grayed out X AR is.

Perhaps the reason why the AR isn't being verified is because of the CUE Sheet I created with CUETools. Apparently it's just a dummy Cue Sheet...

I lost a few CD's, but have them ripped in WAVE (no cue sheets), so decided to burn them to CD's so I could rip to FLAC format.

The Grey AR means that disc is not in AccurateRip

Would this have anything to do with the cue sheet I created with CUETools?

Not if you are ripping in CD Ripper as that cue sheet is not used.

            Re: Rip Status

The original CD's were ripped to WAVE lossless with Windows Media Player. I created a cue sheet with CUETools so that I could burn the WAVE files to CD and rip to FLAC with dBpoweramp CD Ripper. So far I have tried this with three albums. Two CD's resulted with the Grey X AR, while the third only had one track with the Grey X AR.

In that case, sometimes CDs have a different start position, if that is not preserved you will not have an accruaterip disc ID which is correct.
