Automatic Metadata Naming - "/" corrupts naming

    Hi,

I have sound effect cd´s with long file names. It´s not a proble but with first "/" -mark it corrupts Title and Artist data. Is there settings for this or should I correct all by hand?

No, I´m naming files from metadata... If track name is Airplane / propeller - Cessna - on/idle/off.... It will place Airplane as an artist and only from Cessna onwards as a Title. So this "/" -mark corrupts naming. Can I change preferences so that "/" could be replaced with "-" or so..

        mp3 files? because '/' is designated as a multi-artist separator in mp3 id3v2.3

Wave also uses an id3v2.3 ID Tag.

Oh no... Why do they separate titles that way in freedb??

Is there way to round this?

Not sure if there is a batch tool to rename those chars.
