Simulated Damaged Disc for "Detecting C2 Support" (Real Disc or Burned Disc?)

Can I use the simulated damage triangle mark on a burned CD to "detect C2 support" or does the CD have to be pressed (original)?

A burned cd can be used, however burned CDs can often have rewarding c2 errors without any damage.
