    most compatable cross device settings in dbpoweramp configuration for apple lossless

    Before I embark on converting my flac files to apple lossless, I want to check & be sure I have my dbpoweramp configuration settings set so the music files will be the most compatible with different devices

    In ID tagging there is;

    m4a layout; 1. optimized for streaming or 2. streaming incompatible, I guess for this one I will stick with the 1st, optimized for streaming, as incompatible is just what I dont want as in number 2.

    tag padding; 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64. which of these would be best?

    compatibility; 1. (Default) itunes 2. Sony/Nokia (id3), what does this mean? & which would be best? I am guessing itunes?

    Decoder options; 1. stop decoding on error 2. continue with report

    output; 16,24,32 which is best?

    The default options are the most compatible, no need to change anything.
