Says in accuraterip but not in accuraterip

Why does it happen than I insert a CD and DBPoweramp tells me that it is in accuraterip, but when I start ripping it it does 5 passes on each track and then gives an "X ar [green check mark] secure" status for each track. In other words, each track was ripped securely, but not a single track was in accuraterip. This just happened with a 2-CD set I just ripped.

I did significantly modify the metadata for each track, but that shouldn't affect the accuraterip status at all the way I understand it.

      Yes, I'm using release 14.

[edit] I just updated to 14.2 right now.

It is possible, R14 can check cds which are a different pressing to yours, if the offset of the pressing stored is more than 5 cd sectors then it cannot check against it.

This seems to be happening rather often. I had some more CDs today that it said were in accuraterip but in fact they weren't. The CDs I'm ripping are hardly the sort of big sellers that would have multiple pressings. Geza Anda Edition on Audite, for example. I feel that when the program tells you a CD is in accuraterip it's wrong often enough that you can't rely much on that.

hhhmmm, I have a similar experience. Ripped a brandnew CD to MP3 (highest quality, CBR, 320 kbps, Encoding slow). Tracks 1 -7 show: Not in AccurateRip, Tracks 8 -12: Complete, Tracks 12 - 13: Not in AccurateRip.
What does it say with "Not in AccurateRip"?

I have the latest dBpoweramp Reference v14.2. I have Windows 7 Enterprise 64-but.

            Please advise.

Not all CDs are in AccurateRip, especially just released CDs (takes about 4 weeks for them to appear).

Thanks Spoon, I already assumed this as it's indeed the latest release of James Morrison's album The Awakening.

So, should i wait until's it's in the database, or can I consider the rips as correctly been ripped?

Rip now, then re-rip in say 8 weeks to be verified.
