    dbpoweramp has stopped working

I have just started to rip 1500 mostly classical CD to an NAS via computer with Windows 7 home premium running. On some the CD's when I insert the CD into the Drive the tracks appear and like it is looking for metadata, then the screen fades and a window opens stating 'dbpoweramp CD Ripper has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution'. Now I let windows look for a solution but nothing ever came back. What is the the problem and how to fix.
    Thanks, Suzette

For me everything was fine and then : dbpower amp has stopped working...it wont give me a chance to hit the meadata dropdown menu and just closes. It says "app crash" I have tried deleting the program and reloading a new one to no avail. Earlier today it said I have 6 more days on my trial version...WHAT TO DO?

Start it with no CD in the drive.

CD Ripper "no answer" it tells me. I´ve tried most of the advice Da Man Spoon has given, BUT it will not work. When i try to push one of the buttons it goes "milky screen" on me and i have to close it. OS is win.7 home edition with std. protection. It have worked with no problems earlier, but now it just won´t work.
Sorry about spelling and such - i´m from Denmark.

              Run the clear:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

Then reinstall and try ripping a CD without changing any settings.
