CD Ripper on Mac using Codeweavers CrossOver

I see a couple of people say they are using dBpoweramp CD Ripper on a Mac using Codeweavers. I have installed both programs (apparently successfully because the ripping window opens up), but I only see the error message <No CD Drive Found> despite there being a CD inserted. iTunes sees it and recognizes it, of course. A few people have noted this error in other threads.

Since I paid money for the program, I sort of expect it to work. Can someone who is using this setup, please tell me what settings are needed (and where to set them)?

    Thanks,
    Marcel

I do not think it would work under cross over, as crossover (AFAIK) has not allowed direct access to the cd drive, you would have to have parallels on the mac for it to work.
