Metadata conversion and WAV

Hi All,
new to the product and am impressed with ease and capability.

We are ripping cd's to WAV files and with Music Converter the metadata is captured nicely. We need to now convert to mp3 on the server side as these will be for streaming and am challenged on how to rip to mp3 and retain the metadata on the WAV file.

Even looking into commercial services like encoding.com and none of the online encoding solutions can passthrough that metadata to mp3.

Am open to one of the dbpoweramp products like batchconverter but server is linux and not thrilled about configuring Wine...

Any suggestions on solutions?

For converting, wine should not be a problem, dbpoweramp can run fully command line.
