Multi-Encoder - Conductor tag empty

I use Multi Encoder to rip classical CDs to identically tagged (at least should be identical) MP3 and FLAC files in one sweep.
Only glitch is that the Conductor tag is always blank for the FLAC file.
Why would it be blank for one encoder and populated with the correct value for the other?
