Problem ripping CDS

Hi

Not done many posts, so please be kind! I have ripped 1000's CD albums with no problems, but now I am ripping CD singles done a few hundred but now I am having problems? When I rip a disc it rips the first 2 tracks hangs there at 99% then continues to hang for about 20 minutes then continues?? Looked at PIO settings in device manager but all seems to be ok?

Can someone help??

Windows Vista SP2, dbpoeramp cd ripper R14.2

You are burst or secure ripping?

Is it the last track which is always hanging?

I have tried both burst & secure methods, it rips 2 tracks hangs then converts the tracks then hangs again. I'm lost as to what it can be?

Use burst mode until you find the cause, on the CD ripper options page make sure that 'Overread' is unchecked.

Also try ripping to 'Test Conversion' does that finish?
