    Laptop crashes after CD ripped

Everytime I rip a CD as it finishes the computer crashes and restarts. New Asus laptop A53E, 8 gig ram, W7 home Premium. Db poweramp was a new download to the new laptop. The ripped CD files are all good though playable. I rip to wave or flac.

Make sure you have the option to auto eject disabled, if you have Intel Storage Manager installed on your system, it will crash the system (there is a bug in Intels code).

Thanks, disabling has cured the problem. I don't seem to have Intel storage Manager onboard, I certainly didn't download it but it may have been on there from new. There was an awful amount of stuff sitting on this laptop from new which I have proceeded to delete. Where would I find Intel Storage Manager and can I remove it easily?

It would be in device manager, I would not recommend you go there trying to remove it.
