First of all, thanks for a great piece of SW, got it quite recently and it DO make a difference.
A couple HDCD related questions/issues;
1. Saw some topic's regarding the +6db causing clipping with certain HDCD cd's. I noticed that to (and had to redo the lot...). Seems that it's almost 50/50 between +6db ok and the one's causing clipping. For instance;
all Carly Simon remasters = clipping,
all yes/Jap remaster = clipping.
A lot of other stuff, grant lee buffalo, roxy music, etc.. = no problems.
2. The hdcd.exe that's included with dbpoweramp seems to be older that the latest available one if I understand it correctly. The one available from "cjk32" (maybe should post livelinks) reports to be version 0.2 and seems to have more options than the current in dbpoweramp. Any reason to change or NOT to change to the later HDCD.exe ?
