dBPoweramp CD Ripper extremely slow to download metadata

I recently purchased the latest version, but whenever I put a CD in for ripping, it doesn't display the metadata but only track numbers and times.
If I then hit the IdTag icon, dBPoweramp disappears, the hourglass appears, and it takes ages (I'm talking about 5 minutes) to get the metadata displayed (at the end they always appear).
Any hint on this one? Norton antivirus has an exception for the Illustrate directory.
    Kind regards

      1. Can this 14.2 be downloaded on the purchased version? Will it not make it unstable?
      2. I hit the Met icon and the track info comes up OK but many times it does not come up with the art work even if I do a we search.
      Any help?

          Spoon,
With 14.2 downloaded and started, can the previous rips with missing data be updated easily & how or do I have to go through the process of re-ripping?
          Regards
