Single encoder writes files. Multi-encoder does not.

I'm running dbpoweramp R14.1 on Windows Ultimate. I'm not able to rip files from CD to my external hard drive using multi-encoder option. I'm trying to write FLAC and MP3. With a single encoder only, no problem. With multi-encoder, the log turns out that a file was encoded to a location I have specified in 'Dynamic', but the file ext. says '.IGNORE'. However, NO file has actually been written. I have turned off Real-time file protection in Windows, done various options to see if I could narrow it down, but can't get M-E to work. Any ideas I can try? Thank you!

Hi. Avast? No. Not to my knowledge. I have a new HP Envy 14 beats system, but didn't find any files related to Avast. Not sure what it is actually. I'm running XP Ultimate 64.

        It is security software.

Open dBpoweramp configuration >> Music Converter >> enable the 'Debug Option'

Then do a conversion and post the log(s) after a conversion please.

Hi Spoon. Sorry. My problem was that the output files files were being written to my profile path on the system drive, and not my external HDD. It's a path issue I've been having in my dynamic folder all along. Thanks for your fast replies :smile2:
