Problem with ripper

Today i can no longer retrieve meta-tag data, the ripper program just sits waiting. i have a active Internet connection and have tried dbpoweramp ripper on both my Windows and Ubuntu systems with the same problem on each, yesterday all was working okay??

can anyone please help.
