When ripping to one format, as one CPU core is encoding, another starts ripping the next track. But with multi-encoder, the next track doesn't rip until both formats are finished encoding. Is that normal, is there a configuration option I can change?
My new laptop has an i7 CPU with 8GB RAM, so I wouldn't think its a hardware bottleneck.
I rip to FLAC on a USB drive, and AAC on the laptop drive.
