Should the compilation checkbox be checked for non-compilation CDs?
For example, I have Queen Latifah's "All Hail The Queen" album. It's her album, but like most albums, she has features on it. I can't put multiple artists in the artist field without checking 'Compilation' first, or else the Artist field for every song changes. What I've been doing is checking 'Compilation', adding the features separated by semi-colons for each track that needs them, and then UN-CHECKING the 'Compilation' checkbox. This works without giving the CD the 'Compilation' flag tag, but retaining multiple artists on certain tracks. Is this the correct procedure to go about ripping solo artist albums like this or should I keep the 'Compilation' box, checked?
I assumed the Compilation box should be checked only if I have, for example, a DJ mix CD, where every track is a different artist, or a Various Artists compilation of the 90's or something. What's the correct way to go about this?
