Cannot get rid of gapsbetween tracks

Hope this is the place to post this.

Is there a way to remove the pauses between tracks?

When I play the actual CD of Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace CD 1 through my iTunes, tracks 2 through 7 play seamlessly from track to track, no pauses or delays as if it was one long cut. Several of the tracks on this CD blend together like that. The same occurs when I play the iTunes version of the tracks (tracks ripped using iTunes). When I rip the CD using Dbpoweramp to my NAS Device and then play it back through Asset or through a number of other players, I still get the pause between tracks. I went back and re-ripped the tracks after adding the DSP effect “Audio CD - Remove Gaps” but that did not help. What do I need to make this work properly?

UPnP is not gapless unless the player is using a special extension (such as the Linn players).

Hi,

i rip my Mix CD (e.g. Disco Boys 7) to flac on my local harddisk. Later i convert the .flac files to .mp3 (~192 vbr). I copy the files to an usb stick or cd. When i play the .mp3 files with my Car Radio Alpine CDE-126BT i have between the tracks delays up to 2 seconds. Is this a player problem from the Radio or do i have to use any DSP Filter to delete the gaps?

mp3 has gaps, but I do not think they are 2 seconds, use the DSP effect trim silence when converting.
