    Correcting/Refining Title/Artist info & adding Album Art

    Hi all

I'm steadilly ripping my CD collection. It's quite a task and as I go I'm ensuring that the title/artist info is as good as possible; be it spelling or appropriate capitalising etc; and adding missing album art wherever possible.

Question: Do my efforts (including album art) automatically contribute to the metatdata DB that dbpoweramp accesses for other users of the software? I would hope so.

No they do not, as it is complex (the data is from 4/5 providers) and they (bar 2) are quite specific that their data cannot go back to any of the others, so it is complex.

      Thanks Spoon.

Is the metadata stored locally somewhere I can back it up for transfer to a new computer if necessary?

You are best to use the XML DSP effect to export the tags to a human readable format.
