For HDCD, XRCD, SACD and DVD-Audio, is 16bit/44.1KHZ flac file the best we can get?

Maybe it is newbie question for many people here, since I am totally new to computer audio.

Anyway, I finally start my new project to rip all my collection into digital format (flac), I am using dBpoweramp CD Ripper to do the job for me. No matter I put in CD, HDCD, XRCD, SACD and DVD-Audio, I am only end up getting 16bit/44.1KHZ flac file. If it is the best we can get, how do other people get the 24/92KHZ file? are 24/92KHZ file only available to purchase online store like Linn Record? And why all people want to get a DAC which can read 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz at up to 24 Bits file? Since the most we can get from CD are 16bit/44.1KHZ flac. Or am I missing something?

I only have a normal DVD-rom and dBpoweramp program, I want to do the best I can for the first time instead of re-rip my collection again.

    Thanks!

For HDCD use the DSP effect HDCD it will decode to 24 bits (20 bits used).

All other CDs are read 16 bit.

Also HDCD probably needs to be the first listed in DSP actions for that to happen.
These is also resampling capability in both DSP and encoder.

      Spoon,
As far as you know, do DSP and Encoder use the same resample algorithm?

There also seems to be an SACD DSP decoder, however, no computer driver supports it.
