    Naming - Disc Number Problems

    Hi

I'm fairly new to using db poweramp and would like to utilise the naming sturcture to rip my files into the correct folder.

The problem concerns multi disc ripping. I'll use Madonna / Immaculate Collection to describe things....

I like to include the disc number in the album tag e.g. [album] = Immaculate Collection (Disc 1). This is easily set in the ripper options and works just fine. My problem comes with the naming convention of the folder structure..

For single artist albums I like to use the following folder structure:

    [path]\[artist]\[album]\[track] - [name]

For multi disc albums I like to use the following structure:

    [path]\[artist]\[album]\[disc]\[track] - [name]

but since I already include the disc number in the album name I end up with it twice:

    e.g.
    Madonna\Immaculate Collection (Disc 1)\Disc 1\05 - Holiday

    when I actually want

Madonna\Immaculate Collection\Disc 1\05 - Holiday but with 'Immaculate Collection (Disc 1)' in the mp3 tag

Any thoughts on how I can keep the Disc number in the ID3 tag but ommit it from the folder path?

    Cheers

You would have to disable the option in Options >> Metadata & ID Tagging to add the disc number to the album name.
