Asus CD-S400/A

I've been trying to batch rip with this player. It works with the CD ripper, but it always says "post load - waiting for CD". Is there any setting I should change to make it work?

The drive is 11 years old, it probably does not support the required level of MMC command set for ripping.

To be expected, Batch Ripper was written for modern drives.
