I was trying to rip and tag a CD, and the metadata providers selected the wrong album.
Upon examination, the wrong album had the same number of tracks, and each had the same length as the CD I wanted to rip.
This particular CD is disc 1 of a 2 disc set. The second disk did yield the correct metadata. Therefore I suspect disc 1 may exist in the databases.
Is there a way to find the correct album information for disc 1?
Disk is "Stones World" by Tim Ries, tracks and length:
1. 6:22
2. 8:35
3. 10:43
4. 4:29
5. 6:40
6. 5:23
7. 9:22
8. 4:48
9. 7:59.
The incorrect CD is "Doo Wop Themes, Vol. 15: Love, Pt. 5"
I'm new to this tagging, and don't know my way around all the options very well.
I searched Musicbrainz, and found the correct disc 1 there. I don't really understand the Perfectmeta function very well; it almost always works extremely well.
Thanks,
Frank
