    Album art commerical use

I have purchased a license to dBpoweramp Reference R14 for commercial (i.e. non-personal) use. Specifically, I am using the software to aid in the creation of an online used CD store. I would like to use the metadata and album art provided by dBpoweramp in populating the information about each CD for sale in my store.

Presumably, dBpoweramp has licensed the right to grab album art from one or more of the commercial metadata providers (AMG, GD3, etc.) and provide it to dBpoweramp users. Do these providers place any restrictions on dBpoweramp's users' use of the album art? In other words, can I lawfully post the images to my online store?

    Thanks!

My understanding of the album art is that it is supplied as an identifier of the track, in the same way as the other metadata and no special license is required, but some record labels have been legally protesting this, so it a grey area.
