CD Ripper Hanging

I have an older version which I have been using for awhile. Today it started to hang whenever I start the program. I get a blank page. I cannot recall the version as I cannot get in. It's not responding.

Have not tried uninstalling but I wonder if that would help.

Nothing has changed on my PC. Any clues?

OK, after 2-5 mins, the CD ripper started properly but now every time I rip a CD to FLAC, I get all Rip Status 'Error'

Wow, what's happening?

I am getting these error messages with all my my rips. I checked my NAS and there's plenty of space. I have a 1TB drive and I've only ripped into FLAC 350 CDs only.

This project of mind is not complete as I am ripping my entire 750 CD collection into FLAC and stream via SB Touch.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, I found the issue. The IP address of my NAS was different. WE had a outage a few days ago and a new IP address was assigned when the router restarted.

All good.

If I re-install with the version I now have or the latest version release, will I loose all my settings? I now have dbPoweramp converting to FLAC locally then send to my NAS. I have set Reply Gain. What about all the codecs I downloaded and installed. Will I loose all of that and really start again from scratch?

As long as you do not follow the link posted above to clear all settings, then uninstalling and installing a newer version will preserve all settings.

Ok, just to ensure we are on the same page. All I need to just to unistall the CD Ripper and re-install the version I have or intall the lates release. By doing this, all my settings will not change and my codec will be kept.

When you say settings will be preserved. Will my destination folder and now the FLAC files is converted locally then sent to my NAS, and ReplayGain settings will all be untouched even if I re-install or install latest release?
