    Ripping issues from an iMac

I've just invested in a Linn Majik DSi with an AssetNas running pre-installed versions of WHS and Asset uPnP media server. Connected up it all works fine but I have a problem. I am ripping all CDs via dbPoweramp (R14). Some have been done on my daughter's Sony Vaio running WinXP with no problems but she wants it back and I am now ripping via Parallels 6 on my iMac (with exactly the same settings). Everything is fine until I copy to the AssetNas. I can see everything on the NAS but when I go into Kinsky Desktop, Songbird or PlugPlayer on either my iMac, Vaio or iPhone only the CDs ripped from the Vaio show up as albums or genres, etc. All rips from the iMac are only visible as tracks and show unknown album and unknown artist. I've been in touch with my supplier who is investigating as well but my daughter is getting increasingly unhappy.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Install the 'Audio Info' utility codec from:

Then right click on one of the problem files >> Convert To >> Audio Info

Enable the extensive information option and post the results here please.

Here's the information requested. One other point: I cannot access the AssetNAS from within Win7 in Parallels (I don't have administrator privileges apparently although I can access all other machines and drives on the network) so ahve copied files to the NAS from within OSX. The information below is from the file stored on my Mac. Thanks.

Re: Ripping issues from an iMac

Upon further investigation it seems that all the CDs ripped from within Parallels have had all ID tags stripped apart from the track number and title. Going in to the NAS and manually adding tag information for album and band allows me to see the albums in the right place. Album art is still iffy; sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't. I'm probably not entering it correctly. I'll continue to work on it.

Tags are written after the track has written, there were tags when ripping otherwise there would be no file mane created. Try ripping locally then move to the nas.
