To C2 or not C2

I have the current iMac 21.5 running Windows 7 under bootcamp, I followed your recommended settings for ripping, and used the black triangle method for C2 detection, it automatically detected C2 support, however it did this almost immediately after clicking ok. Should I leave it enabled, as your instructions suggest it should not do it so quickly.

Try detecting c2 on a disc with no scratches, it should not detect c2 straight away, if it does the c2 implementation is not correct.

Thanks Spoon, I don't have any knackered CD's at the moment, so i'll disable it, until I get one.
