When I viwed my converted albums, in windows explore on xp, I would see some info about each track, like UPC code, but in windows 7 I do not see it. I am not sure if anybody would know here.

I also use mp3 tag to adjust edit the meta data.

I do not think Windows 7 has the provision to display this.

if this feature worked, would it be the feature that would allow me to see details about individual song files like disc ID, UPC code etc, when I hover a mouse over the songs in windows explore? I would see these details in this manner in windows xp.

If windows 7 does not support the old method, will there be a new method developed in it's place?

I looked at the latest DSP effects 7, & saw one for preserve source attributes, if I used this, would this bring in more details about individual songs?

would any of the utility codecs work for this as well?

Windows 7 has standard tag place holders, that is album artist, etc. dBpoweramp interfaces with Windows 7 by supplying those values, but there are no standard placeholders for UPC etc in Windows 7.

So the only way for me to see these items would be in another tag editor? or other program?
