All, I know that there's a way to upmix a CD from stereo to multichannel (in various configurations. As far as I know, this is just done by mirroring channels. That said, for CDs that have Dolby Surround encoding, is there a way to rip and have Dolby Prologic II (through AC3filter or something else) do the upmix, so that the end result is a 5.0 or 5.1 file and has the encoded center and surround channels properly located in the resulting file?
