    Naming scheme...

    Hi

I am new here. Yesterday i did try new dBpoweramp v14 (trial) and i like it.
Its very good program. I am going to rip big collection of my cds (around 300) to external hard drive in FLAC format.
So i am sure that dBpoweramp would be the best for this. I did setup almost everything as i want.
But one thing i didnt is filename scheme. And i need little help with that.

I want my music to be organized/ripped like this:

    Artist\Album\01. Track name

    or if Multidisc:

    Artist\Album (Disc 1)\01. track name

    And if various artist:

    Various\Album\01. Artist - Track name
    Or
    Various\Album (Disc 1)\01. Artist - Track name

So how should i configure name scheme?

I am sure i will buy full version but i just need this to work as i want...
    And one question more.
Capitalization. Can i configure this that it acts like in EAC. Every first character upper?

    Thank you

    Re: Naming scheme...

    Code:
    [IFCOMP]Compilations\[album] [IFMULTI] \Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title]-[artist][][IF!COMP][artist]\[album][IFMULTI] \Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title][]
use this as your naming string to get what you want. Change "compilations" to "various" if you want that name for compilations.

Ok i did get somwhere... :D Thank you. But i have problem in tag i think...
Why do i get in foobar for example this:

      Uploaded with ImageShack.us

As you see in track number i get: 01.02
And its the same for all tracks... In front of every track number is 01.
But file itself is ok. So this must be something with tags...

yes, this is how foobar will show track numbers if you also have a disc number. Nothing wrong with tags, just the way foobar shows it. If you don't like this with single disk CDs, just remove the disk field from your tags.
