Very little we can do if the 4 metadata providers do not have it.

      Re: more meta data

I may as well post my question here in this thread rather than starting another thread for similar topic.

I also find it kind of odd that WMP has my CD with artist, title, tracks names, and even some addition info, and often pictures.

Yet none of the other metadata providers have any info on an EMI CD.

Anyway, my question is, when a CD is inserted and the meta comes up. And I click on the metadata button and see the info (when it does indeed appear), there are four buttons across the top of this window, with AMG, etc. As if I can click on each of the buttons to slect which I prefer. Yet they are grayed out and cannot be selected.

I would like to select some info from each making a custom metadata folder as I was told can be done. Artist from one, tracks from another.

How do I make each database selectable with these button? (Of course the data must be in each database)

Make sure all the providers on the meta drop menu (AMG, GD3, MusicBrainz, Freedb) have a check mark, also PerfectMeta has the check mark.

I'm having the same problem. WMP is reading the metadata, and everything's checked on dBpoweramp, but it's still not reading it.

Bgle, as good as the main databases are for ripping/tagging, they do not offer info from two other good sources, and that is Disogs, and Amazon.

Mp3tag is a powerful and easy-to-use tool to edit metadata of audio files.

Import from Amazon, discogs it says.

I think for collectors of rare and more obscure music, this other tagging database is also needed.
